Platform Engineering Team, where she works on AI and Responsible Technology for the watsonx platform.
In addition to her interest in technology, she is a hardcore gamer, and is passionate about Japanese
Language & Culture, having studied abroad in Kyoto, Japan.

Shalisha
Shalisha Witherspoon is an award winning Software Engineer at IBM Research in the department of
Data Engineering for watsonx, where she develops libraries, frameworks, and automation pipelines for data
preparation for Large Language Models.
Outside of technology, she enjoys drawing manga, playing video games, and practicing her Erhu
(Chinese Violin)
